Headteachers, Directors of Studies and School Accountants on the 2025/2026
National Practical Examinations
The National Examination and School
Inspection Authority (NESA) hereby informs you that, in preparation for the
administration of the 2025/2026 National Practical Examinations, a mandatory
training for Headteachers (HTs), Directors of Studies (DoS), and School
Accountants/Bursars will be conducted nationwide.
The training aims to strengthen
institutional preparedness and ensure uniform understanding and implementation
of the National Practical Examinations guidelines, in Professional Education,
Technical Secondary Schools (TSS), Teacher Training Colleges (TTC), Associate
Nursing Program (ANP), Accounting Program and General Education Science
Combinations and ANP (PBA), as well as financial management and reporting
procedures.
The training will take place from Monday
20th April to Thursday 23rd April 2026, at designated district cluster
venues, as outlined below:

- Prepare the training venue (Karongi, Rusizi, Nyagatare, Rubavu,
Nyamagabe, Rwamagana, Musanze, Huye, Ngoma, Gicumbi, Muhanga and
Nyarugenge districts).
- Inform all Headteachers, Directors of Studies, and School
Accountants/Bursars from designated examination centres in your district
about this training.
- Ensure their full participation in the training sessions as
scheduled.
- Facilitate coordination with sector education staff, where
necessary, to ensure effective mobilization.
Participation in this training is
mandatory, as it is a critical prerequisite for the smooth and compliant
administration of the 2025/2026 National Practical Examinations. NESA counts on
