Job Responsibilities
The Biomedical Senior Engineer will be responsible for:
- Reviewing
medical equipment and infrastructure specifications and supporting
tendering processes.
- Monitoring
suppliers and ensuring timely handover of correct equipment and works.
- Conducting
market analysis in collaboration with the procurement team.
- Assisting
in preparing tender documents for medical equipment, infrastructure,
supplies and preparatory works.
- Supervising
the installation of medical equipment and end-user training.
- Following
up on warranty maintenance provided by suppliers.
- Participating
in technical evaluation of bids, tenders and proposals.
- Assisting
with the final acceptance and handover of commissioned equipment and
infrastructure.
- Recommending
appropriate modifications and improvements to medical equipment and
infrastructure.
- Providing
technical expertise in biomedical engineering and clinical technology.
- Advising
management on existing and emerging medical technologies.
- Monitoring
ongoing infrastructure projects and healthcare facility maintenance
planning and implementation.
- Performing
any other duties assigned.
Qualifications
