1. IT Lead
Location: Kigali, Rwanda

About the position
Wicloud is seeking an experienced IT Lead to oversee IT
operations, infrastructure, information security, compliance, team development,
and technology innovation for its Kigali operations.
The successful candidate will provide technical and
operational leadership, establish effective IT processes, and ensure that IT
services meet business and client requirements.
Key responsibilities
The IT Lead will be responsible for:
- Managing
IT operations and establishing effective IT governance procedures.
- Coordinating
incident reporting, escalation, and resolution.
- Managing
corporate networks, servers, cloud resources, endpoints, and collaboration
tools.
- Overseeing
IT assets from procurement and deployment to inventory management and
retirement.
- Implementing
information security controls, policies, and incident response plans.
- Supporting
internal audits, customer reviews, and compliance assessments.
- Identifying
and implementing AI tools to improve productivity and IT service delivery.
- Leading
IT teams, setting performance objectives, and improving accountability.
- Coordinating
with international teams and communicating technical issues clearly to
management.
Qualifications and experience
Applicants should have:
- A
bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, or
a related field.
- At
least six years of IT experience, including two to three years in an IT
Lead or equivalent position.
- Practical
experience in IT infrastructure, operations, IT service management, and
security compliance.
- Experience
applying AI tools in operations or productivity.
Additional advantages include experience managing IT across
multiple locations, knowledge of Microsoft Azure, familiarity with incident,
problem and change management, and experience with information security in
international service environments.
Candidates are expected to demonstrate experience with one
or more of the following: generative AI tools such as ChatGPT, Copilot or
Gemini; prompt engineering; AI automation; chatbot implementation; AI knowledge
bases; ticket triage; workflow optimization; or AI-driven reporting.
Language requirements: Fluency in the local language
and strong professional English proficiency are required.
2. Windows Forum Freelancer

Wicloud is seeking motivated freelancers to support the
Windows Community Forum on Microsoft Learn. The role involves responding to
user questions, managing community discussions, researching technical problems,
and helping users find appropriate solutions.
This opportunity may suit candidates interested in Windows
technology, online technical support, customer service, and community
moderation.
Key responsibilities
Successful candidates will:
- Review
and respond to questions posted in the Windows Community Forum.
- Monitor
assigned discussion threads and ensure questions receive appropriate
attention.
- Research

- Escalate

The Technical Support Engineer will:

technical support to Microsoft global customers.
