Re: Full Rollout of the Students' Attendance Tracking System (SATS) – Karame System
The Ministry of Education, in partnership with Save the Children through the Zero Out of School (OOSC) Project, is committed to ensuring that all children enroll in school, attend and remain in school so they can fully enjoy their right to education.
To support this goal, we have rolled out the Students' Attendance Tracking System (SATS), also known as the Karame System, across public and government-aided schools. This system is designed to strengthen attendance monitoring and help prevent school dropout. Teacher trainings attendance system usage have been conducted, and all schools are now required to record daily class in the Karame System.
We kindly request you to ensure the full adoption and effective use of SATS/Karame in your school. District and Sector Education Officials will provide guidance and support where needed, and we encourage you to actively participate in this activity to support the national effort to eliminate school dropout.
Your timely action and commitment are crucial to the success of this initiative. For further clarification, please contact Bella Rwigamba at brwigamba@mineduc.gov.rw or 0788898255.
Kind regards,
