Re: National Celebration of International Teachers' Day 2025
International Teachers' Day is celebrated globally on $\text{5}^\text{th}$ October each year to honour the invaluable contribution of teachers in shaping education systems and advancing national development. The 2025 global theme, "Recasting Teaching as a Collaborative Profession," underscores the importance of teamwork, peer learning, and shared professional practice in improving teaching and learning outcomes.
In Rwanda, 2025 marks the $\text{24}^\text{th}$ national celebration of this important day. This year's celebrations will take place in all districts on $\text{12}^\text{th}$ December 2025. The national celebration event will be held on the same day in Kirehe District.
The Ministry of Education is therefore requesting you to:
Organise and coordinate celebrations in your respective districts.
Avail and facilitate two ($\text{2}$) Head Teachers from your respective Districts to participate in the National Celebration at Kirehe Gymnasium.
