REB Teacher Placement Lists 2026: Check
Your District and School
The Rwanda Basic Education Board (REB)
has released lists showing teachers and school administrative staff who have
been placed in different schools across Rwanda for the 2026–2027 school year.
The lists provide district-by-district
information to help teachers and school staff check their placement and
identify the school where they have been assigned.
According to the REB announcement, the
Ministry of Education, through REB, appointed teachers and school
administrative staff to positions in primary and secondary schools. The
appointments are effective from 1 September 2026, and the concerned
staff are to receive appointment letters for the schools where they will work.

What Teachers Should Check
After opening the relevant district PDF,
teachers and school administrative staff should carefully check:
- Their full name
- The district of placement
- The school where they have been placed
- Their teaching subject or position
- Their qualification or other identifying information where
provided
- Any other information included in the official list
Teachers should use the information in the
official list when following up on their appointment and reporting
requirements.
REB Teacher Placement for September 2026
The REB communication indicates that the
lists were provided to districts so that appointment letters could be prepared
for the schools where the appointed teachers and school administrative staff
will work, effective 1 September 2026.
REB is responsible for coordinating basic
education programmes and activities and for teacher development and management
in Rwanda.
