The Higher Education Council (HEC) invites
eligible Rwandan citizens to apply for the Commonwealth Master’s and PhD
Scholarships 2027 for study in the United Kingdom.
Time & Calendars
For the 2027 intake, Rwanda may nominate 16
candidates for PhD scholarships and 10 candidates for Master’s
scholarships.
Important:
Being nominated by HEC does not guarantee final selection or placement by the Commonwealth
Scholarship Commission (CSC) in the United Kingdom.
1. Commonwealth Master’s Scholarship

August 2031

Application Deadline
20 October 2026
Rwandan applicants are encouraged to
complete the required applications and submit all supporting documents before
the deadline.
Note: HEC
nomination is a competitive stage and does not constitute a guarantee of a
Commonwealth Scholarship award.
