RTB Announces Over 100 Deputy Headteacher in Charge of Discipline Job Vacancies (Apply Before 15 June 2026)

 



The Rwanda Technical and Vocational Education and Training Board (RTB) has announced more than 100 vacancies for the position of Deputy Headteacher in Charge of Discipline across TVET schools in Rwanda. This is an excellent opportunity for qualified professionals passionate about student welfare, discipline management, counseling, and educational leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Successful candidates will be responsible for:

  • Managing day-to-day trainee discipline and behavior.
  • Developing and implementing student discipline plans and activities.
  • Supporting student counseling, mentorship, and guidance services.
  • Promoting student participation in sports and extracurricular activities.
  • Working closely with trainees' councils and student leadership structures.
  • Handling crisis situations and conflict resolution within the school environment.
  • Participating in school leadership and management meetings.
  • Performing other duties assigned by school management.

Required Qualifications

Applicants must possess a Bachelor's Degree in one of the following fields:

  • Sociology
  • Psychology
  • Clinical Psychology
  • Social Work
  • Psycho-pedagogy
  • Educational Psychology
  • Social Studies with Education
  • Foundations of Education

In addition, candidates must have at least three (3) years of relevant professional experience.
