REB Holiday Remedial Learning Program 2026: Volunteer Placement Results Released



The Rwanda Basic Education Board (REB), in partnership with MINEDUC, has released the official selection and placement results for youth volunteers participating in the Holiday Remedial Learning Program 2026.

This national initiative brings together secondary school graduates and university students to support primary and lower secondary learners during the school break. Volunteers will help bridge learning gaps in foundational literacy, numeracy, and core subjects across schools nationwide.

📌 Next Steps for Selected Volunteers

  1. Verify Your School: Locate your assigned host school and sector in the district PDF file.
  2. Contact School Leadership: Reach out to the Headteacher or local Education Inspector (SEO) at your assigned school to confirm reporting dates and times.
  3. Prepare Required Documents: Bring a copy of your National ID, academic credentials, and a printed copy of the placement sheet showing your name.
  4. Program Implementation: Review the REB remedial orientation guidelines to prepare for student level grouping, foundational literacy/math exercises, and structured catch-up sessions.
