The National Examination and School Inspection Authority (NESA) has officially released the selection results for Assessors, Markers, and Checkers for the 2026 National Examinations.

Following the application window that ran from June 9 to June 25, 2026, thousands of primary, secondary, and TVET educators across Rwanda submitted their applications. If you applied to participate in this year’s national examination exercises, you can now verify your selection status online through the official portal.

🔑 Key Details of the 2026 NESA Selection

This year, NESA has digitized and streamlined the deployment process to ensure transparency and efficiency. Selected educators will play a critical role in maintaining the quality, integrity, and timely processing of the national examinations for P6, S3, S6, and TVET (L3, L5).

Important Note: Deployment locations, marking centers, and specific reporting dates will be indicated directly on your selection profile or sent via official SMS/email communications.

💻 How to Check Your NESA Status Online (Step-by-Step)

Checking your selection status is straightforward and can be done from a smartphone or computer. Follow these steps:

Step 1: Visit the Official Portal

Go to the official NESA Online Services Portal at NESA Online Services Portal – Assessors, Markers & Checkers

Step 2: Navigate to the Recruitment Section

Look for the link or tab labeled "Assessors, Markers & Checkers" on the dashboard.

Step 3: Log In to Your Account

Enter the credentials (username/email and password) that you created during the application period in June.

Step 4: View Your Application Status

Once logged in, click on "Track Application" or check your profile dashboard. Your status will display one of the following:

  • Selected / Approved: You have been successfully allocated a role (with details of your assigned subject and marking center).
  • Pending / Under Review: Your application is still being processed or held on a waiting list.
  • Not Selected: The positions for your specific subject or region have been filled.
