About the KOICA Scholarship Program
The KOICA Scholarship Program (SP) aims to
develop future leaders from partner countries by providing fully funded
postgraduate education opportunities
in South Korea. The program supports socio-economic development by equipping
professionals with advanced knowledge and skills that can be applied in their
home countries. KOICA is offering 11 Master’s programs and 4 Doctoral programs
for the 2027 intake.

Eligibility Requirements
Master’s Degree Applicants
Applicants must:
- Be citizens of a KOICA partner country
- Be officially nominated or recommended by their government
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution
- Be a public official or employee of a public institution
- Meet the admission requirements of the selected university
program
Doctoral Degree Applicants
Applicants must:
- Meet all Master’s degree eligibility requirements
- Hold a Master’s degree from a recognized institution
- Meet the specific admission requirements of the selected
university program

Application Process
The scholarship selection process consists
of two stages:
Education
- KOICA Round – Conducted by the
KOICA Overseas Office or the Korean Embassy.
- University Round – Conducted
by the participating university for candidates who successfully pass the
KOICA Round.
