Key Guidelines for Parents and Schools

The Ministry and NESA have issued several important directives to ensure student safety and efficiency during this period:

  • School Compliance: School administrations are required to strictly follow the scheduled dates and send students off early enough to reach their destinations in good time.

  • School Uniforms: All students must travel while wearing their full school uniforms.

  • Transport Fees: Parents are reminded to provide their children with sufficient transport money for their journey home.

  • Kigali Transit Point: Students traveling through Kigali or heading to other provinces via the capital will board their buses at the Kigali Pelé Stadium in Nyamirambo.

  • Strict Deadlines: The stadium transit point will close daily at 3:00 PM (15h00). No students will be allowed to arrive at the stadium for boarding after this time.

Local authorities at the district and sector levels have been tasked with monitoring the process to ensure every student reaches home safely.
