Key Responsibilities

1. Content & Digital Strategy

  • Develop engaging content for the company website, email campaigns, and digital platforms, focusing on service expansions and customer success stories.
  • Monitor social media channels, providing professional and timely responses to maintain a
    credible online presence.
  • Manage the corporate editorial calendar to ensure a consistent and strategic flow of
    information across all channels.

2. Visual & Creative Production

  • Act as the primary lead for basic, high-quality photography at company events and corporate
    activations for use in press and internal materials.
  • Produce visually compelling assets (flyers, digital banners, reports) using ensuring strict
    adherence to brand guidelines.

3. Media Relations & Public Relations

  • Maintain press lists, draft pitch materials, and provide logistical support for press conferences and briefings.
  • Monitor media coverage and public sentiment, preparing regular reports on visibility and the effectiveness of communication efforts.

4. Internal Coordination & Governance

  • Support staff updates and internal events to ensure smooth information flow across all
    departments.
  • Ensure all materials align with corporate policies and regulatory guidelines specific to the
    health and supply chain sector.

Candidate Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Creative Design, or a related
    field.
  • Technical Proficiency:
    • Professional experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop/InDesign) and Canva, or equivalent professional design software.
    • Basic proficiency in digital photography (framing, lighting, and editing).
    • Strong Microsoft Office skills and familiarity with CMS platforms or web analytics.
  • Experience: 1–2 years in a similar role is preferred. Fresh graduates with a standout portfolio of design and photography work are encouraged to apply.
  • Industry Advantage: Prior experience or a strong understanding of Supply Chain Management or the Healthcare Sector will be considered a significant added advantage.
  • Core Competencies: Exceptional writing and editing skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced corporate environment.

About the Role:

Rwanda Medical Supply (RMS) is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Legal Affairs Officer to join our Legal team. In this role, the Legal Affairs Officer will play a key role in assisting the organization in complying with laws and regulations whileconducting business and minimizing litigation risks in general.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Providing legal advice and assistance to management and internal departments/Directorates.
  • Assist management in understanding legal risks and mitigating those risks
  • Review of company internal policies and standard operation procedures.
  • Assist the company in monitoring the implementation of applicable laws, regulations and internal policies.
  • Provide legal advice and consultation and written opinion to RMS and its staff if required.
  • Interpret laws, instructions, regulations, and procedures to the Company staff and management
  • Solve any legal matter related to contracts that may arise with other parties and internally within the Company.
  • Ensuring compliance with laws and regulations in general.
  • Any other duties assigned by the Manager or the Chief Legal Officer

Knowledge and technical skills required

  • Teamwork and the ability to work with a variety of people at all levels.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and strong understanding of agreements.
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of legal terminology.
  • Must have strong computer skills especially Microsoft Office package.
  • Capable of professionally managing confidential information.
  • Possesses attention to detail in order to spot inconsistencies in contracts and other legal documents.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in law (LLB)
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Preference will be given to candidates who hold a master’s degree in law, or a Diploma in
    Legal Practice.
