Job responsibilities

The Planning and M&E officer will be responsible to prepare and coordinate technically the planning, monitoring and evaluation activities of the hospital. II. Key Duties and Tasks · Identify information requirements of components concerning planning, monitoring and evaluation · Analyzing activity implementation progress reports emanating from different units of the Hospital and advise the Director General of the Hospital on necessary changes and/or review · Monitor the implementation status of all stakeholders’ programmers or project running within the hospital and asses their contribution towards the achievement of the Hospital’s development objectives and targets · Ensure that the established guidelines on project monitoring and evaluation for different departments components are respected · Monitor the overall progress in the execution of the strategic plan, action plan of the Hospital · Implement the project monitoring and evaluation strategy, and recommend any possible changes based on the lessons learned at hospital level; · Review the performance indicators and reports produced by different departments and suggest necessary changes; · Monitor and report on the hospital performance · Prepare quarterly and annual monitoring & Evaluation reports, and assist in the preparation of the annual work plans. · Submit monthly, quarterly and annually report to the supervisor · Perform other related duties as required by his/her supervisor

Job responsibilities

·Ensure timeliness, accuracy, completeness of data collected at the health facilities ·Supervise and provide instructions for workers collecting and tabulating data. ·Collection, analysis, interpretation and production of Health Center Statistics ·Report results of statistical analyses, including information in the form of graphs, charts, and tables. ·Consolidate statistical reports from different services/departments and projects operating under Health Center. ·Provide reports of birth, death audit, disease surveillance and other HMIS reports to the supervisors ·Data entry and actively participate in internal and external data quality assessment ·Supervise health centers in the catchment area to verify the reliability and quality of data. ·Participate in hospital operational research and monitoring& evaluation activity ·Perform other related duties as required by his/her supervisor ·To identify psychosocial cases and work with them to find adequate solution for their problem; ·To manage all departmental supplies and equipment ·To organize and coordinate the international Patients’ day; ·To organize and manage packages of support to enable patients to lead the fullest lives possible ·To organize the social reintegration of abandoned and invalid patient (Home visit); ·To serve as liaison between patients, healthcare providers and sponsors; ·To perform other related duties as required
