Subject: List of School Heads and Deputy School Heads reassigned to teaching positions
Madam/Sir Mayor,
Pursuant to the Prime Minister's Order No: 033/03 of 12/11/2024 establishing the special statute governing staff in basic education schools, specifically in Article 45 regarding the general performance evaluation of School Heads and Deputy School Heads, and Article 46 regarding the procedure for removal from a position;
Based on the results of the general performance evaluation for School Heads, the Ministry of Education, through the Rwanda Basic Education Board (REB), has reassigned School Heads and Deputy School Heads who did not achieve the required scores to remain in their leadership roles to teaching positions.
In this regard, I am sending you the attached list showing where they have been assigned so that their appointment letters for the specific schools can be prepared. However, those who have already been appointed as teachers by the districts and are not on this list should remain at their current stations. I would also like to inform you that if there is a vacancy within the district where a person is already working that would facilitate their work better, their placement can be changed, and you should notify us accordingly.
