UNHCR UNIV’R Scholarship 2026: Fully Funded Master’s
Scholarship (Deadline: 1 February, 2026)
The UNIV’R Scholarship Programme is
a fully funded initiative for refugees, run in partnership with UNHCR and Sciences
Po Paris. It allows eligible refugees to pursue a two-year Master’s
degree in English or French at Sciences Po Paris, starting August/September
2026. The programme aims to provide refugees with access to high-quality
higher education and support to rebuild their academic and professional
careers.

Benefits of the UNIV’R scholarship
The UNIV’R scholarship covers most major expenses,
including:
- Tuition
fees for the full two-year Master’s programme.
- Living
stipend to cover daily expenses.
- Housing
support or accommodation assistance.
- Travel
costs to France and visa support.
- Health
insurance and social/administrative support.
- Books
and local transportation expenses.
The scholarship ensures that recipients can focus fully on
their studies without financial burden.
Eligibility Criteria of the UNHCR UNIV’R scholarship
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be
a refugee, individually recognized by UNHCR or a State
authority.
- Currently
reside in a first country of asylum outside the European Union.
(Resettled refugees in the EU are not eligible.)
- Hold
at least a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Have a
minimum B2 level in English or French.
- Be no
older than 35 years at the time of application.
Required Documents
To apply, candidates must prepare and submit:
- Academic
transcripts from previous studies.
- Academic
recommendation letters.
- Proof
of refugee status (UNHCR or state-issued).
- Evidence
of language proficiency (English and/or French).
- CV
/ Resume.
- Motivation
letter / Statement of purpose.
- Any
additional documents requested by Sciences Po Paris (e.g., GPA evidence).

- Complete
the online application form before the deadline: 1 February 2026.
- Upload
