Invitation to Selected SET, ICT, and Science Teachers to attend in the National Artificial Intelligence (AI) Training Programme
The Ministry of Education (MINEDUC), through the Rwanda Basic Education Board (REB), in collaboration with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) under the Day of AI initiative, is organizing the training of 150 teachers on Artificial Intelligence (AI). The training programme aims to strengthen teachers' knowledge, skills, and pedagogical competencies in Artificial Intelligence to support its integration into teaching and learning across SET, ICT, and Science subjects within the Competence-Based Curriculum (CBC). This important training will take place from December 13$^{\text{th}}$ –14$^{\text{th}}$, 2025 and 20$^{\text{th}}$ –23$^{\text{rd}}$ December 2025 at selected five training centers across District from 8:00AM.
The training aims to equip selected SET, ICT, and Science teachers with a foundational understanding of Artificial Intelligence, provide hands-on experience with AI teaching tools, and build practical skills for integrating AI lessons into their teaching practices. All costs will be covered by REB. The list of invited SET, ICT, and Science teachers for the training is attached to this letter.
