The Gordon and Isabel Humphrey Scholarship was established
with a gift from John Humphrey in memory of his parents, and is awarded to
graduate researchers who are enrolled in a graduate research degree in the
field of Engineering in the Faculty of Engineering and IT.

Scholarship
- This
scholarship provides a fortnightly stipend with a rate of approximately
$39,500 per year (full-time student rate) for up to 3.5 years.

Qualification
- To be
considered for this scholarship, you must, in the awarding year, have
applied and met entry requirements for the Doctor of Philosophy-
Engineering and Information Technology in the field of Engineering.

Melbourne PhD Scholarship
- The
scholarship is offered to the graduate researcher(s) ranked highest by the
selection panel based on their application.
Conditions
- This
scholarship is subject to the University’s Graduate Research Scholarship Terms and
Conditions and cannot be deferred to the following year. In
addition, graduate researchers must agree to the University sharing their
name and course details with the donor of their scholarship and provide a
note of appreciation or a brief report on the benefits of the scholarship
if requested.
