Aim and Benefits of University of Melbourne PhD Scholarship

  • This scholarship provides a fortnightly stipend with a rate of approximately $39,500 per year (full-time student rate) for up to 3.5 years.

  • To be considered for this scholarship, you must, in the awarding year, have applied and met entry requirements for the Doctor of Philosophy- Engineering and Information Technology in the field of Engineering.

  • The scholarship is offered to the graduate researcher(s) ranked highest by the selection panel based on their application.

Conditions

  • This scholarship is subject to the University’s Graduate Research Scholarship Terms and Conditions and cannot be deferred to the following year. In addition, graduate researchers must agree to the University sharing their name and course details with the donor of their scholarship and provide a note of appreciation or a brief report on the benefits of the scholarship if requested.
