Rwanda Polytechnic Announces 2026–2027
Admissions for Technical Secondary School and Other Candidates
Rwanda Polytechnic (RP) has announced the opening of applications for candidates wishing to
study in Year One in its colleges for the 2026–2027 Academic Year.
Applications are open to public,
private, and foreign candidates seeking admission under Government
Sponsorship or Self/Private Sponsorship.

According to the official announcement,
online applications will be accepted from 23 September to 3 October 2026
through the RP application portal.
Who Can Apply?
Applicants must have:
- A Senior 6 / Level 5 certificate or results slip.
- International candidates must provide the relevant equivalence
issued by NESA.
- A copy of a National ID or a valid passport for
international applicants.
- An active email address and password.
- Payment of the non-refundable application fee of RWF 5,000.
Candidates who completed secondary education
before 2024 must have two principal passes in principal subjects
relevant to the programme. Selection and admission will depend on available
places and academic performance.

Technical Secondary School can apply for eligible Advanced Diploma and

How to Apply
Applications are submitted online through
the Rwanda Polytechnic application portal:
The application process includes creating
an account, entering applicant information, selecting programmes, completing
the application, and paying the application fee.
After a successful application, a
confirmation email is sent to the applicant’s email address. RP states that
only complete and successfully submitted applications will be received and
considered.
