The National Examination and School Inspection Authority (NESA) has announced that the 2025/2026 Advanced Level (A’Level) National Examination results will be officially released on Friday, September 11, 2026, at 2:00 PM.

According to the announcement issued by NESA on September 10, the results announcement will bring together learners, teachers, headteachers, parents and other education stakeholders.

The 2025/2026 Advanced Level National Examination results will be announced on:

Results announcement to be streamed live

Learners, parents, teachers and members of the public who want to follow the official results announcement will be able to watch the event through the YouTube channels of the Ministry of Education (MINEDUC) and NESA.

The announcement is expected to provide important information about the performance of candidates in the 2025/2026 A’Level national examinations.

Results for Candidates Who Retook Primary Leaving Examinations

NESA has also provided an important notice for candidates who retook the Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE).

These candidates will be able to access their results through the Student Data Management System (SDMS) on September 11, 2026.

Previous A’Level Results

For comparison, Rwanda's 2024/2025 A’Level national examination results were announced on September 1, 2025. NESA reported that 106,079 candidates sat for the examinations, with 94,409 candidates passing, representing an overall pass rate of 89.1%.

The previous results covered candidates in General Education (GE), Technical Secondary Schools (TSS), and Professional Education (PE).

The 2025/2026 results will therefore be closely followed by students, parents and education stakeholders across Rwanda.

Candidates and parents are advised to:

  1. Be ready from 2:00 PM on September 11, 2026 for the official announcement.
  2. Follow the official NESA and MINEDUC communication channels.
