Algeria–Rwanda Government Scholarships
2026/2027
The Higher Education
Council (HEC) has announced scholarships offered by the Government
of Algeria to Rwandan students under the bilateral cooperation between
Rwanda and Algeria for the 2026/2027 academic year.
Available Fields of Study
The scholarships are available for Bachelor’s
degree studies in:
- Medical Sciences
- Architecture
- Urban Planning and Urban Studies
- Mathematics and Computer Science
- Science and Technology
Required Application Documents
Interested applicants are required to
submit:
Soccer
- Application letter addressed to the Director General of HEC
- Copy of a valid passport or National Identity Card
- Copies of original-notified certificate and transcripts or
result slip
- Birth certificate
- Medical certificate
- Curriculum Vitae (CV)
- Recent colour passport photo
Eligibility Requirements
According to the announcement:
- Candidates must have a Senior Six result slip or certificate
with a score of 80% or equivalent in the 2026 Senior Six National
Examinations.
- Students who are already enrolled in local or foreign
universities are not eligible to apply.
How to Apply
Applications must be submitted online
through the HEC Management Information System (HECMIS).

before logging in and should download the user guide for application
instructions.
