Access the Official Portal



  1. Search Your Candidate Record
    • Enter the student's Index Number in the designated field.
    • Click Start Appeal to retrieve your examination details.
  2. Verify Candidate Summary
    • Review the system-generated profile to confirm your identity. Details include:
      • Index Number
      • Full Names
      • Father's and Mother's Names
      • Examination Level (e.g., Ordinary Level


  1. Confirm Identity via OTP
    • Select a parent/guardian phone number to receive a One-Time Password (OTP) via SMS.
    • Choose either FATHER or MOTHER (phone numbers will be partially masked for privacy).
    • Click Send code.
    • Enter the verification code received on the selected phone number to proceed.
  2. Select Appeal Type
    • Choose the category that matches your grievance:
      • Placement Appeal: If you are dissatisfied with the school assigned to you.
      • Marks Appeal: If you wish to challenge your subject scores.
      • Identification Appeal: To correct personal data errors (e.g., misspelled names or incorrect birth dates).
  3. Submit Details and Supporting Information


    • Provide a clear and detailed explanation supporting your request.
    • Attach relevant supporting documentation if prompted.
    • Click Submit to send your appeal to NESA.
