integrated aquaculture model, encompassing hatchery operations, cage-based

Choice aims to scale into Africa’s largest and most sustainable protein producer,

Job Purpose:
The Talent Operations Officer provides the operational and
administrative backbone of the Talent Development function. This role ensures
seamless execution of recruitment coordination, onboarding and off boarding
administration, learning and development logistics, and performance management
processes. The position plays a critical role in supporting a rapidly scaling
workforce by ensuring people processes are timely, accurate, compliant, and
employee-centered.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Recruitment & Hiring Coordination
- Post
job advertisements and manage applicant tracking systems.
- Screen
CVs against defined criteria.
- Coordinate
interviews, assessments, and candidate communication.
- Prepare
offer letters and employment contracts.
- Maintain
accurate recruitment trackers and hiring documentation.
2. Onboarding & Off boarding Administration
- Coordinate
onboarding schedules, induction sessions, and system access.
- Ensure
onboarding documentation is completed within the first three working days.
- Track
probation review timelines.
- Manage
structured off boarding processes and clearance documentation.
- Maintain
accurate and compliant employee files.
3. Learning & Development Coordination
- Manage
logistics for internal and external trainings.
- Track
attendance and maintain training records.
- Administer
evaluation forms and compile summaries.
- Support
onboarding program scheduling and materials coordination.
4. Performance Management Administration
- Track
performance review cycles and submission deadlines.
- Follow
up with managers on overdue reviews.
- Maintain
records of objectives, check-ins, and annual reviews.
- Support
calibration preparation and documentation.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's
degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Industrial
Psychology, or a related field.
- 1–3
years of experience in a Human Resources or HR administrative/support
role.
- Proficiency
in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel, Word, and Outlook)
- Ability
to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, especially relevant for a
scaling, mission-driven company like Kivu Choice.
- Strong
organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple
tasks and meet deadlines.
- High
level of confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive
employee information.
- Strong
problem-solving skills and a process-oriented approach.
- Ability
to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
