A document claiming that the Rwanda Basic Education Board (REB) has launched a Remedial Learning Program for primary school learners is currently being shared on social media. However, the document displayed in the image is clearly marked with a large "FAKE" stamp, indicating that it is not an official REB announcement.

The Fake Announcement Claims

According to the document circulating online, the alleged program would:

• Run from 27 July 2026 to 28 August 2026. 
• Target Primary 1 to Primary 5 learners who scored below 50%. 
• Require schools to prepare selected learners for remedial classes. 
• Provide RWF 30,000 or RWF 4,000 per day as financial support. 
• State that participating youth volunteers would receive no payment.
