Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be
responsible for:
Primary & Secondary Schooling (K-12)
- Providing strategic leadership and implementing the school’s
vision and strategic plan.
- Leading Nursery, Primary, and Secondary sections as an
integrated institution where applicable.
- Developing annual school improvement plans.
- Supervising curriculum implementation and ensuring high-quality
teaching and learning.
- Monitoring academic performance and examination results.
- Promoting STEM, Artificial Intelligence (AI), innovation,
entrepreneurship, and digital learning.
- Supervising Deputy Head Teachers, Heads of Departments,
teachers, and support staff.
- Conducting staff performance appraisals and promoting
professional development.
- Maintaining student discipline, welfare, and safeguarding.
- Promoting leadership, sports, arts, and co-curricular
activities.
- Preparing and managing the school budget and ensuring efficient
utilization of resources.
- Building strong relationships with parents, NESA, government
institutions, and community stakeholders.
- Ensuring compliance with Ministry of Education,
REB, and NESA regulations.
- Preparing and submitting timely institutional reports.
Qualifications and Requirements
Applicants should have:

- A Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership,
School Management, Curriculum Studies, or a related field.
- A Bachelor’s Degree with exceptional experience may
be considered for Nursery and Primary campuses.
- At least 7 years of successful teaching experience.
- At least 5 years of school leadership experience.
- Strong understanding of the Rwanda Education System.
- Excellent ICT and Artificial Intelligence (AI) literacy.
- Outstanding leadership, communication, planning, and
organizational skills.
- High integrity, professionalism, and commitment to educational
excellence.
