Job Title:	Hardware and Datacenter Administrator	Reports to:	Senior IT Operations Manager

Job Purpose Statement

General Description: The Hardware and Datacenter Administrator is responsible for analyzing and determining the appropriate layout for all IT equipment at DUTERIMBERE-IMF PLC. They are responsible for resolving hardware issues and maintaining DUTERIMBERE-IMF PLC's network devices.

 

Key Accountabilities (Duties and Responsibilities)

Periodically maintain network cabling and hardware equipment in the main data center, and diagnose any anomalies. Ensure the maintenance of computers, the UPS system, cooling systems, generators, and provide periodic reports to the supervisor. Perform hardware upgrades as needed. Assist in all new hardware implementations impacting the infrastructure and report all incidents affecting normal IT infrastructure operations. Establish relationships with key stakeholders to understand their current and future business needs and manage partners in accordance with SLA requirements Prendre possession et assure une réponse et de résolution des problèmes des usagers en temps opportun Taking possession and ensuring a timely response and resolution of user problems Staying up-to-date with all relevant consumer protection laws, regulations, and industry standards to ensure all interactions and transactions comply with legal requirements Produce periodic reports To perform any other similar tasks assigned to him by his superiors

 

Ideal Job competencies

Education and Qualifications Bachelor’s degree (A0) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field Professional certification in IT infrastructure or networking is an added advantage (e.g. CompTIA Server+, CompTIA Network+, CCNA, or ITIL Foundation) Experience At least 5 years of experience specifically in IT infrastructure, hardware administration, or datacenter operations Prior experience in a financial institution or regulated environment is an advantage             C. Technical Competencies Proficient in server hardware, datacenter infrastructure (UPS, cooling, generators), and network device management Familiar with IT asset/incident management tools, IT security principles, and SLA reporting Knowledgeable in banking/financial services IT systems             D. Behavioural Competencies Analytical, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure while managing multiple priorities Proactive with strong communication skills; able to translate technical issues to non-technical stakeholders Integrity and commitment to confidentiality
