2026 PBA: Official Center Allocation for
Private Candidates Now Released
The wait is over for the thousands of
private candidates registered for the 2025/2026 National Examinations.
NESA has officially finalized the list of approved examination centers for the Project-Based
Assessment (PBA).
As the assessment period is already
underway (May 1 – June 19, 2026), all private candidates who have not yet
reported to their centers
How to Find Your Assigned Examination
Center
To ensure candidate privacy and data
security, NESA does not publish a single PDF list of names. Instead, you can
find your specific allocation using these official channels:

- SMS Alerts: Check the phone number
used during your February/March registration. NESA has sent automated
notifications to all successfully registered private candidates.
- District Education Offices: Lists
have been shared with all District Directors of Education (DDE). If
you face technical issues with the portal, visit your local district
office for assistance.

This year sees a significant number of
private candidates participating in the new PBA model:
- Advanced Level (S6): 1,464 Private

Presentation Schedule
Private candidates are integrated into
hosting schools for a 7-week project cycle. Mark your calendars for the final
presentation dates:
- June 1 – June 5, 2026: Chemistry

Mandatory Requirements for Candidates
When you report to your designated center,
you must present:
- An Original National ID or valid Passport.
- A Printed Registration Form from the SDMS portal.
- Appropriate lab attire (where applicable) and basic stationery.
Note to School Leaders: NESA guidelines strictly prohibit charging private candidates
additional "lab fees" or "usage fees." Hosting centers are
mandated to provide materials and internet access for the PBA research phase as
part of the national examination framework.
