The College of Medicine and Health Sciences
(CMHS) is one of the 7 Colleges that operates under the University of Rwanda.
The College of Medicine currently has five schools namely: Dentistry, Health
Sciences, Nursing and Midwifery, Medicine and Pharmacy and School of Public
Health. CMHS plays a central role in the social and economic development of the
nation through training of Medical doctors and Health professionals.
It is in this regard that the College is
looking for competent and qualified candidates for the positions captured in
the table below:

beyond. Maintain and international profile and produce work standards of
international excellence in the context of Discipline. Knowledge transfer
including applied research, consultancy and CPD; Engage in supervision of
Post Graduate research and post-doctoral scholars. |
PhD in Midwifery or Women Health or
Maternal Child Health (1) or Professional doctorate in relate field 7 years
of work experience, Evidence of having produced internationally recognized
outputs in one or more of the following areas: Research Knowledge transfer
including applied research Scholarly/Teaching/Learning/ Pedagogical
activities A minimum of nine (9) publications points emanating from peer
reviewed index journals, peer reviewed index conference proceedings. Have at
least five publications published in a recognized peer reviewed journal
Equivalence of the degree certificate in case the Degree was obtained from
abroad (Outside Rwanda). Have a good command of English (Oral and Written).
Have a valid license for clinical practice. |

for lecturer position published in a recognized peer reviewed journal. Have
at least 5 publications if applying for senior lecturer position published in
a recognized peer reviewed journal along with at least 3 years of teaching
experience. Equivalence of the degree certificate in case the Degree was
obtained from abroad (Outside Rwanda). Have a good command of English (Oral
and Written). Have a valid license for clinical practice in the country where

- Copy of Degree Certificate
- Copy of National Identity Card or copy of the passport for

Education Council in case the Degree certificate was obtained from Abroad
