The fully funded Kyoto University iCeMS
Internship 2026 in Japan is currently accepting applications from foreign
students worldwide. This six-week program gives a rare opportunity to obtain
practical research experience in cutting-edge areas of cell and material
sciences and is especially tailored for students currently enrolled at
universities outside of Japan. The Kyoto University Institute for Advanced
Study (KUIAS)’s Institute for Integrated Cell-Material Sciences (iCeMS) will
host the participants, where they will collaborate closely with top academics
on active projects.
There is no application cost, and the
internship will run from June 30, 2026, until August 6, 2026. Since IELTS and
other English proficiency exams are not necessary, students from all around the
world can apply. In addition to providing research experience, the program
hopes to familiarize participants with the academic setting and research
