International students can apply for the fully financed
University College Dublin Scholarship, which is provided by the Irish
government. For the term of study, the Government of Ireland International
Education Scholarship (GOI-IES) offers a living stipend of €10,000 in addition
to full tuition reimbursement.
On January 29, 2026, applications for the 2026–2027 school
year were available. This esteemed program is intended for students who are not
EU or EEA and who want to study in Ireland. University College Dublin is one of
60 scholarships given out annually by Irish higher education institutions.
To assist qualified applicants in effectively preparing and
submitting their scholarship applications, this handbook offers detailed
guidance.
Eligibility Criteria :
- International
students who are not from the EU or the EEA are required.
- For
the 2026–2027 school year, you must be enrolled in one of the following
courses:
- A
taught Master’s program that lasts one year and is full-time, or
- the
first year of a PhD program that is full-time.
- must
possess a current offer of admission from UCD; applications without an
active offer for a program that qualifies will not be taken into
consideration.
- must
be able to pay the tuition fee at the non-EU/non-EEA rate.
Ireland is the host nation.
Europe is the study destination.
