Important Announcement from NESA: Student Transportation Schedule 🚌

This is a public announcement intended for parents, students, and school leaders from the Ministry of Education (MINEDUC) and the National Examination and School Inspection Authority (NESA).

It announces the schedule for transporting students back to their families for the Christmas and New Year's holidays 2025/2026.

The journeys will begin on December 19, 2025 and conclude on December 22, 2025.

 IMPORTANT NOTES (ICYITONDERWA):

  • All schools are required to adhere strictly to the transportation schedule and send off students promptly.

  • Students are required to travel wearing their school uniform.

  • Parents are required to receive their children or have a designated responsible person present at the arrival points.

  • Education officials in districts (Akarere) and sectors (Umurenge) are asked to monitor the process of returning students to their families and ensure schools respect the schedule.

  • Students departing from Kigali and those passing through Kigali will board the vehicles at the Kigali Pelé Stadium (NYAMIRAMBO).

  • All departures will commence at nine o'clock (09:00) in the morning.


This corrected announcement indicates that national examinations for the 2025/2026 academic year were released by the Ministry of Education.

The emphasis is on collaboration between MINEDUC, NESA, school leaders, parents, and students to ensure a smooth and organized transportation process.
