Subject: End of Term One Examination Activities and Marks Recording in CAMIS
Dear Madam/Sir,
Reference is made to the 2025/2026 School Calendar published by the Ministry of Education, whereby the first term, which began on 08 September 2025, will conclude on 19 December 2025.
Further reference is made to the 2025/2026 subject/module content distribution and chronograms available on the e-learning platforms of the Rwanda Basic Education Board (REB) and Rwanda TVET Board (RTB).
The National Examination and School Inspection Authority (NESA) hereby reminds all primary and secondary schools that End of Term One examination activities — including administration, marking, and recording of marks in CAMIS — must be conducted within the timelines indicated in the above-mentioned content distribution and chronograms.
In addition, recording of End-of-Unit marks in CAMIS will start on Monday, 01 December 2025. User guides for marks recording are available on the CAMIS website.
We kindly request your office to share this information with all schools in your District and ensure that:
Term One examinations are administered as scheduled; and
All schools issue Term I Report Cards through CAMIS — this applies to General Education and Professional Education schools, whether public, government-aided, or private.
