Re: Invitation to the National Celebration of International Teachers' Day 2025
International Teachers' Day is celebrated globally on 5 October each year to honour the invaluable contribution of teachers in shaping education systems and advancing national development. The 2025 global theme, "Recasting Teaching as a Collaborative Profession," underscores the importance of teamwork, peer learning, and shared professional practice in improving teaching and learning outcomes.
In Rwanda, 2025 marks the $24^\text{th}$ national celebration of this important day. This year's celebrations will take place across all Districts on 12 December 2025, ensuring broader participation and alignment with the academic calendar. The national celebration will be held on the same day in Kirehe District.
The Ministry of Education is therefore pleased to invite you to the National Celebration of International Teachers' Day 2025 on 12 December 2025 at the Kirehe Gymnasium.
