Masters Scholarships
Applications are now open for the 2026
Airtel Africa Foundation University Tech Scholarship. The Airtel Africa Foundation is offering full scholarships to
20 exceptional first year undergraduate students in Uganda, empowering the next
generation of leaders in technology and innovation.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
- Be admitted as a first year student at one of the following
universities:
- Makerere University
- ISBAT University
- Uganda Christian University
- Mbarara University of Science and Technology
- Kyambogo University
- Be a Ugandan national
- Not hold any other scholarship, including a Government of
Uganda Scholarship
- Be admitted to an eligible course at a participating university
- Be a new entrant in their first year
- Meet the minimum entry requirements of the university (at least
two principal passes at UACE obtained in one sitting) and demonstrate the
potential to succeed in their selected program
- Come from a financially constrained background and demonstrate
financial need.
The fellowship focuses on students pursuing
degrees in: IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science,
Cybersecurity and Artificial Intelligence (AI).
Application Deadline: 18th December 2025
Benefits
- The fellowship covers tuition, accomodation, academic
materials, and a fixed stipend to cover core course expenses.
