The Erasmus Mundus EDISS Scholarship consists of a monthly
grant of 1400€ per month and a participation costs waiver for the entire
duration of the EDISS programme.
All students completing the EDISS Scholarship programme will
obtain a double master’s degree from Ã…bo Akademi University and the institution
chosen for the second-year specialization.

Erasmus Mundus EDISS Scholarship Details:
EDISS Scholarship is a two-year programme (120 ECTS) based
on the collaboration between four university partners.
Ã…bo Akademi University in Finland is the entry university
for all students and in the second year the students will follow their
individual mobility path within one of the three specializations provided by
EDISS.
EDISS brings together software engineering educators working
in data collection, data-driven assessment, and decision-making for both
design- and runtime and software engineers, architects and data scientists
working on data pipelines, data architectures, DataOps and in
experimentation systems.
Such synergy leads to sharing knowledge and expertise, and
thus creates new ideas and impactful solutions.
Eligibility Requirements for Erasmus Mundus EDISS
Scholarship
To be considered for the Engineering of Data-intensive
Intelligent Software Systems (EDISS), you must:
- Have
a Bachelor’s or equivalent undergraduate degree (at least 180 ECTS) from
an accredited university, in computer science, software
engineering or equivalent subject.
- Demonstrate
good command of English language: TOEFL iBT (minimum score 93) or
IELTS Academic (minimum score 6,5 with no individual score under 6).

The programme can be funded in two ways;
- EDISS
Scholarships
The EDISS scholarship can be awarded to students from
programme or partner countries. The EDISS scholarship contains a waiver of the
participation costs and a monthly contribution to subsistence costs.
- Erasmus
Mundus Scholarships
The EMJM grant is composed of a 1400 EUR per month
scholarship and a participation costs waiver for the entire duration of the
EDISS programme (24 months maximum). This will be awarded only if
successfully selected in July 2025 for the Erasmus+ Mundus Joint Master
programme grant
Required Documents for Erasmus Mundus EDISS Scholarship
To apply, candidates must be ready to submit the following
documents;

- An
officially certified or legalized scanned copy of the original Bachelor’s
degree certificate in the original language AND an authorized translation
of the original degree certificate in English.
- An
officially certified or legalized scanned copy of the original transcript
of records in the original language of all the higher education studies
completed so far AND an authorized translation of the transcript of
records in English.
- A
diploma supplement (if available)
Proof of language skills in English (TOEFL iBT / IELTS Academic, or certificate of exception)
Copy of passport. - A
certificate of residence
- Curriculum
vitae (CV)
- Two
academic recommendation letters
- Motivation

of relevant work certificates, publications, or other relevant activities

To apply for the Erasmus Mundus EDISS Scholarship,
interested and qualified candidates should;

- Collect,

- Applicants,
who have not completed their Bachelor’s degree by the application
deadline, must in the application form provide an official statement from
their higher education institution which states the expected graduation
date of the applicant and the course units yet to be finished.
- You
must fill in the online application form on the Studyinfo portal and
upload the required scanned enclosures (in color and in pdf format) by the
given application deadline.
- Please
note that when you start filling in the online application form, you will
need to finish your application at the same time, i.e. it is not possible
to save and complete the information in the text boxes at a later stage.
