Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the University of Leipzig (GSSP) 2026,
you must:

international applicants who have not lived in Germany for more than
15 months.
- hold a
Master’s degree (or equivalent) completed within the past six years.
- have
strong interest in themes related to global, transregional, or
transnational studies, particularly on issues like crises, revolutions,
pandemics, migration, climate change, decolonization, globalization
dynamics, and more.
- At the
time of the application, the last final exam (Master’s Degree) should have
taken place no longer than six years ago.
