Empowering Rwandan Youth through Vocational Skills Training
The BPR Foundation, in partnership with the National Youth Council, is inviting young Rwandans to apply for the 2025 IGIRE Scholarship Programme—a powerful initiative aimed at equipping unemployed youth with hands-on vocational skills for self-employment and economic empowerment.
About the IGIRE Scholarship
This fully-funded six-month TVET training program is designed to provide practical, job-ready skills to Rwandan youth. The training will focus on the following key trades:
Courses Offered:
- Culinary Art (Ubuhanga mu guteka)
- Electronic Devices Repair & Maintenance (Ubuhanga mu gusana ibikoresho by’ikoranabuhanga)
- Domestic Electrical Installation (Ubuhanga muby’amashanyarazi)
- Plumbing (Ubuhanga mu miyoboro y’amazi)
- Welding (Ubuhanga mu gusudira)
How to Apply
Applicants are required to:
- Fill out the online application form clearly and completely
- Attach a passport-size photo, copy of National ID, and certificate of highest academic qualification
- Be prepared to present the original documents during selection
