Eligibility Criteria:
- A PhD or other qualified health professional degree must be
held or anticipated to be obtained prior to the fellowship’s start date.
- must have finished all of the PhD requirements in the last
three years. (Extensions might be given in certain situations, as when a
career is interrupted.)
- No tenured or tenure-track academic faculty position may be
held at this time.
- must have never been the recipient of a Banting Postdoctoral
Fellowship or any other Tri-Agency postdoctoral fellowship grant.
- The planned study ought to be fresh, creative, and obviously
different from the applicant’s PhD thesis.
- Candidates may apply to the program up to three times in total.
