Kigali Rwanda. As part of its optimization and localization plans the company

fill the following vacancy;
Maintenance Operation and Planning Specialist
Reporting to: LuNa Smelter Maintenance Manager
Employment Type: Full time
Required Experience, Skills, Qualifications and
Competencies
- Bachelor’s
degree in mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or related field
- Minimum
3–5 years’ experience in maintenance operations and planning
- Experience
in maintenance planning, scheduling, and execution
- Good
knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance practices
- Ability
to prepare maintenance plans, schedules, and reports
- Familiar
with HSE standards and safe work practices
- Strong
coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills
Key areas of responsibilities
- Planning,
scheduling, and coordinating maintenance activities to ensure optimal
asset availability and operational efficiency.
- Developing
and maintaining preventive and corrective maintenance plans in alignment
with operational requirements.
- Coordinating
with maintenance, operations, and engineering teams to ensure effective
execution of maintenance work.
- Monitoring
maintenance performance indicators and preparing reports to support
informed decision-making.
- Ensuring
maintenance activities comply with safety standards, company procedures,
and regulatory requirements.
- Supporting
continuous improvement initiatives related to maintenance planning,
reliability, and cost optimization.

Project Supply Chain Manager
Reporting to: LuNa Smelter Project Manager
Employment Type:Full time
Required Experience, Skills, Qualifications and
Competencies
- Minimum
of 3–5 years of relevant experience and a bachelor’s degree in accounting,
Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related
field; possession of a master’s degree is an added advantage.
- Strong
knowledge of international sourcing, Incoterms, and logistics.
- Excellent
commercial, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Attention
to detail
- A
strategic and analytical mind
- Excellent
interpersonal and negotiation skills with a proven ability to create and
maintain positive working relationships with vendors, suppliers, shippers,
and customers.
- Comprehensive
understanding of the company’s products, supply chain framework, and
logistics operations
- Strong
analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient
with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- MoR
certification is an added advantage
Key areas of responsibilities
- Develop
and implement the project supply chain and procurement strategy.
- Identify
and manage long-lead and critical smelter equipment packages.
- Coordinate
with engineering to ensure timely release of specifications and technical
documentation.
- Negotiate
commercial terms and manage procurement contracts.
- Manage
logistics, shipping, customs clearance, and delivery of heavy-lift and
oversized equipment.
- Establish
materials management and tracking systems from vendor to site.
- Control
procurement budgets, commitments, and cash flow.
- Identify
and mitigate supply chain, logistics, and vendor risks.
- Interface
with construction, project controls, HSE, and quality teams to ensure
alignment.
- Ensure
compliance with company procurement policies, contractual requirements,
and local regulations.
- Prepare
regular procurement and supply chain status reports for project
management.
- Implementation
and maintenance of industry processes management system in accordance with
M_o_R standards
- creation
of risk management policy for logistic processes
- Create
the company’s supply chain strategy
- Analyze
data from shipping and delivering processes to find bottlenecks and other
issues
- Monitor
logistics to make sure they run smoothly
- Maintain
supply chain inventory and records
- Train
and guide employees
- Find
cost-effective solutions for supply chain processes
- Resolve
issues that come up (e.g. delays in delivery, accidents)
- Collaborate
with other departments to create coordinated plans for business growth
- Develop
and implement safety guidelines in all aspects of the supply chain (e.g.
use of trucks, cranes, forklifts)
- Ensure
supply chain processes meet legal requirements and standards
- Communicate
and negotiate with suppliers and vendors to land more profitable deals
- Develops
and maintains detailed inventories of materials and supplies located in
the company, at sites, and in the factory.
- Maintains
require quantity of supplies and materials to optimize production.
- Analyzes
current inventories and procedures; suggests improvements to increase
efficiency of supply chain and profitability for the company.
- Develops
policies to increase efficiency throughout the supply chain while ensuring
quality and safety; implements subsequent changes to processes.
- Identifies
optimal shipment and transportation routes with attention to consolidation
of warehousing and distribution.
- Assesses
the need for material-handling equipment and staffing; makes
recommendations to ensure efficient loading, unloading, movement, and
storage of materials
