RE: Invitation to attend the training of trainers and actual training for lower primary teachers on English Literacy instruction
The Rwanda Basic Education Board (REB) has revised the Lower Primary English syllabus, introducing a new approach to English literacy instruction. In collaboration with its partners, REB has developed teaching and learning materials to support the revised syllabus and strengthen learners’ English competencies. To ensure effective implementation, REB is organizing a three-day Training of Trainers (ToT) workshop for Trainers, who will subsequently lead training sessions for P1-P3 English teachers.
We kindly request all listed participants to attend and actively contribute to building teachers' capacity in English literacy instruction. We particularly encourage school leaders and TTC principals to ensure that their teachers and tutors are available to participate in this important training.
