  1. Position: Loan Officers

            Number: One (1)

            Type of contract: Open-ended contract

Responsibilities with regard to credit

The Loan Officer is responsible of the quality loan portfolio and its growth at the assigned branch with the following duties:

  • Mobilize clients for the purpose of lending to them.
  • Train individual clients and group members in the TC Kira lending methodology.
  • Supervise financial education trainings conducted by clients’ trainer.
  • Guide, monitor, and supervise clients as well as groups activities.
  • Evaluate and assess the credit risk of individual clients and groups by inspecting business and household of potential clients, appraise client’s business and repayment capability before disbursing loans.
  • Generate and submit on time accurate documentation to enable loans to be disbursed.
  • Maintain complete and accurate loan documentation in the office and supervise the maintenance of group record keeping process.
  • Follow up with clients to recover loans.
  • Participate and/or hold cluster meetings.
  • Take individual action as per policy to recover delinquent loans.
  • Prepare and submit reports on the number of clients, repayments, portfolio quality, loan recoveries and follow-up action on delinquent loans.
  • Generate & develop deposits and new deposit pipeline by providing product knowledge, customer services and managing customer relationships.

Sell of all financial products, services and delivery channels

 Develop marketing and work plan for the establishment of solid clientele base.

  • Identify and sensitize the potential clients in the respective area of operation.
  • Advise clients on the use of TC Kira Plc alternative delivery channels.
  • Refer clients that are illegible for other TC Kira PLC products to the respective departments.

Main Performance Measures

  • Portfolio at risk (PAR).
  • Value of outstanding portfolio (Average portfolio).
  • Number of loan clients.
  • Growth in the number of loan clients.
  • Growth in the value of outstanding portfolio.
  • Growth of the saving portfolio.
  • Number of saving clients.

Requirements

Hold a Bachelor’s degree in business, management, finance/accounting, or related fields with minimum of two (2) years of recent overall experience in sales and/or marketing.

Key technical skills and knowledge required:

* Knowledge of cost analysis techniques;

* Knowledge to analyze complex financial information & Produce reports;

* Communication skills;

* Judgment & Decision-Making Skills;

* High Analytical Skills;

* Interpersonal skills;

* Time management Skills;

* Complex Problem solving;

* Flexibility Skills;

* Personal computer and data entry experience,

* The ability to maintain a professional, courteous demeanor even under high-pressure circumstances,

* Knowledge of banking software and terminology,

* Knowledge of banking rules and regulations,

* Ability to process customer requests, identify problems and provide solutions aiming to grow assets and liabilities,

* Fluent in Kinyarwanda, English and/or French, knowledge of all is an advantage.

            Number: One (1)

            Type of contract: Open-ended contract

Responsibilities:

The responsabilities of Business and operations manager are as follows:

  1. Identify and develop new business opportunities,
  2. Making market initiatives and maximize business performance to reach the customer and company goals,
  3. Achieving better business practices,
  4. Build relationships with customers, suppliers, distributors, partners and vendors,
  5. Evaluate existing partnerships and sales efforts with an eye toward building on what works and changing what does not,
  6. Manage key client relationships and works to build new ones,
  7. Expand the profile and reach of the company and its brans,
  8. Leads sales, marketing, customer-service, and client relationship management teams,
  9. Develop and strengthens internal and external relationship that will lead to increased lead generation and market share,
  10. Build cross-functional teams to guide and nourish sustainable, long-term growth,
  11. Tracks emerging markets and trends,
  12. Fosters and works to maintain an entrepreneurial growth culture, throughout the company and across all teams and work functions,
  13. Identify and recommends new products and services,
  14. Propose and develop strategic partnerships,
  15. Help to shape the company’s long-term objectives and determine plans for how to meet them,
  16. Research and identify new markets,
  17. Provide advice on product deveopment distribution and promote strategies,
  18. Identify sponsorship opprotunities, including non profit organizations,
  19. Build and maintain relationship with Vendors,
  20. Conduct webinars nad presentations to raise the brand or product profile,
  21. Help direct development of customer-facing web platform and digital experiences.

Requirements

The Business and operations Manager shall have a bachelor degree in accounting, finance, banking, economics, business administration, business law or related field with a minimum working experience of ten (10) years in financial/banking sector in which five (5) were in a managerial position.
