With the 2026 Summer Research Programs, Taiwan has reopened
its doors to foreign students. The National Tsing Hua University (NTHU) Summer
Program 2026 in Taiwan is currently accepting applications. International
students from Asia, America, Africa, Europe, and Oceania are eligible to
participate in this fully financed, two-month research program.
Both undergraduate and graduate students are eligible to
participate in the NTHU Summer Program. There is no application fee, and
National Tsing Hua University covers all program costs. This program’s primary
goal is to bring together students from all over the world to collaborate on
research projects with peers from both domestic and foreign countries while
being supervised by academic advisors.
The program allows participants to travel Taiwan while
participating in a collaborative research environment through field trips,
cultural experiences, and social events in addition to academic research. More

from a variety of academic backgrounds can enroll in the program because
it does not require the IELTS or any other English proficiency test.
