The Staff Mobility Programme at IUCEA is designed for IUCEA member institutions that are interested in receiving academic services such as teaching, external examination, and program accreditation, from academic staff from other member institutions in the East African Community outside their home country. The programme allows member universities of the IUCEA to share the human resources needed and expertise in executing their core functions further, fostering regional integration.
To improve the effectiveness and impact of the Staff Exchange Programme, IUCEA calls for its member universities to express their interest to host visiting lecturers in the 2025/2026 academic year. To facilitate effective matching, interested universities are requested to submit their hosting requirements using the provided form. https://forms.office.com/r/u3NyBRCwYe. This will enable the IUCEA Secretariat to better align available academic staff with institutional needs. By participating, universities can specify their requirements, including;
- Courses or disciplines
- Academic departments
- Preferred qualifications
- Desired timeframe for visiting lecturers
This call aims to enhance the programme’s impact by ensuring a precise match between institutional needs and available expertise.
Kindly note that responses are expected by 31 July 2025. If you have any questions, please contact Prof Obonyo Meshack at mobonyo@iucea.org or Dr. Gervais Ndayizeye at gndayizeye@iucea.org.
Please accept the assurance of our highest consideration.
